What the planner checks before you drill

      01

      Material stiffness

Wood works for a lasting first loom; cardboard is treated as a short trial; PVC needs wider supports and light tension.

      02

      Peg load

The planner compares warp width and peg projection against the chosen peg diameter so thin pegs are flagged before they bend.

      03

      Release room

A sliding tension peg or slot is placed near the front so the finished warp can be loosened without forcing the band off the loom.

      04

      Next weaving step

The H/U route starts at the heddle peg, alternates through the open shed path, and points back to the generator and yarn calculator.
